About "the Insure Your Pet For Vets" scheme.
As a vet in general practice I try to
give my clients as much clear information as possible, and information
about pet insurance is no exception.
This was relatively straight forward
when there were only a handful of insurance providers but became
increasingly difficult as the veterinary pet insurance market expanded
rapidly over the last few years.
InsureYourPet grew out of this quest
to provide staff and clients with uncluttered and unbiased information
about pet insurance and has been operating since 2004.
In January 2005 new FSA regulations
came into effect and this has affected how many practices go about
telling their clients about pet insurance. For fear of over stepping
the FSA regulations many practices have opted out of informing their
clients about insurance. They may display a few leaflets and tell
clients that insurance is a good idea but that's where it stops.
Considering how important it is to have a large number of clients
who have chosen to insure their pets, should we be more pro-actice
in providing good information about pet insurance?
Having the InsureYourPet bolt-on embedded
in your practice website enables you to provide your clients with
all the information they need to find out about insuring their pets
and a valuable reference resource for your staff to direct clients
to rather than simply "googling".
Even if your practice is affiliated
to Petplan having comprehensive information for clients is a very
useful tool as it enbles clients find out more about pet insurance
from your practice. Not all clients are able to or wish to insure
with your preferred insurance provider.
Join today and give your clients more
choice; peace of mind for your practice.
